Attended a nail art work shop by Ms RachelT recently. I love going to such workshops because the things I learn there never fails to surprise me.
Pink Room International Nail Academy (PRINA) organizes such workshops every month. This month's theme is the KAWAII DOGGIE. And as the name suggests, we learnt how to do three different doggies and paw prints.
Some of the girls there didn't even have any knowledge in acrylic. The rest of us attended the diploma course in Pink Room.
Class was pretty interesting as we learn things that we didn't learn in our diploma class. The diploma class teaches us the basics, after all a strong foundation is important.
Doggie #1 is a bulldog. Have you seen such a cute bulldog before?!
Rachel was very careful in teaching us every little detail. We even had theory for each item, where she'll touch on the colors, positioning etc.
Doggie #2 is a poodle...
With extra dose of cuteness...
... with matchy heart.
Ooo~! Every ones concentrating. Except me! Who was busy taking photos... hahahha...
And doggie #3 is a schnauzer...
On a size note, Rachel did these pink Schnauzer some time ago...
After the whole course, we were even given... as they say "love letters". Rachel wrote a note for each of us on our mistakes and things that we need to work on.
My acrylic set is sooo cute I want to post it up! Hahhaha!!
Every one left the class happy! Cause it was a relaxed friend friend class. In fact, I think its very cheap considering the stuff Rachel taught. It's three doggies!! And she even went around the class to check on each and every one of us, correcting us along the way.a
Looking forward to more classes!! I'll post it up when they have the next class so that those of you who are interested can come join us!
Okies~ Gonna practice my doggies now. I'll post it up when I'm done ^^
Oh! The best part of this class is that, it doesn't ends on the day itself. You can email/tag on fb the pictures of the art you did and Rachel will correct/comment for you. So it's like a never ending lesson. Hahah~!
PRINA's classes are much "warmer" than the one I took by Matsuda Yoko in Hong Kong. Cause by the end of that lesson, every one became friends! And its actually really cheap compared to the one by Matsuda Yoko.
Hey! You're learning from Rachel Tang. In case you didn't already knew, she's a holder of the Level 1 Japanese Nailist License, among other titles.
